Darth Maul Perspective by chosen-1 Darth Maul Perspective by chosen-1
This peice I did shortly after Star Wars, Episode 1: The Phantom Menace came out. I was GREATLY influenced by one of my favorite artists (Travis Charest) at the time.

Reminds me of a picture of Travis Touchdown doing pretty much the exact same pose.
Nice Work

well, I think everyone else here has summed up what I was gonna say so I'll keep it simple. DITTO!!!

Seriously, very nicely done. The angle is really intense and aggressive.

Incredible job on the perspective! The proportions are just amazing, especially giving the complexity of the piece. Your weighted line and heavy washes are gorgous. I particularly like the detail within the folds of the fabric and the lightsaber as it shifts in space. The high contrast of the image really makes it shift and twist in space. That posing is wonderful, and I love the way you handled the hands.
